Accountant
Abid Fast Cargo Shipping LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and UAE regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and reports
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
- Process payroll and monitor employee expenses
- Prepare VAT filings and ensure compliance with UAE tax laws
- Support the audit process and provide necessary documentation
- Assist management with budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure all financial operations follow company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience (preferably in logistics or shipping industry)
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or wafeq)
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and financial compliance
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Logistic Co-Ordinator
As a Logistics / Cargo Coordinator at Abid Fast Cargo Shipping, you'll play a pivotal role in managing daily cargo operations across road, sea, and air freight within the GCC region. You’ll act as the central point between clients, carriers, customs officials, warehouse teams, and internal stakeholders—ensuring shipments move efficiently, documentation is prepared correctly, and customers’re kept up to date.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and schedule cargo shipments (air, ocean, road) based on customer requirements.
- Prepare and manage all shipping documentation, such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs forms. Remain compliant with UAE customs and international trade regulations.
- Track shipment movement, follow up on status updates, and promptly notify internal teams and customers of any delays or issues.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, shipping lines, customs brokers, and warehouse teams to coordinate pickup, delivery, and clearance processes.
- Review invoices and validate freight charges, collaborate with finance for approval and resolution of billing discrepancies. Generate regular reports on shipment metrics (transit times, cost, service performance) and identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist with cargo receipt processing, inventory reconciliation, and coordinate goods-in via the warehouse when needed.
- Address client inquiries or complaints and resolve operational issues such as delays, damages, or customs holds.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or a related field (or relevant prior experience in cargo/logistics).
- 2–4 years of experience in cargo operations, freight forwarding, or logistics coordination roles.
- Strong knowledge of UAE/customs regulations, Incoterms, international shipping documentation, and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and experience with logistics or ERP systems (e.g. Calogi, SkyCargo, SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills to liaise with multi-cultural stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset, analytical skillset, and ability to multi‑task in a fast-paced environment.
- UAE driving license preferred (for coordination on-ground if needed).
SUPPLYCHAIN EXECUTIVE
We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Supply Chain Executive to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our supply chain operations, ensuring efficient procurement, inventory management, and logistics processes to meet business objectives.
You will play a key role in coordinating with internal departments and external suppliers to deliver value, minimize costs, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and monitor the overall supply chain strategy.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to forecast demand and manage supply.
